Advocates for Change

Channel Fife TV was established as an independent organisation in 2010 to continue the legacy of media access in Fife (started by the Fife Film & Video Workshop in 2000 and continued into MIMAC in 2002 and MiMAC-Rushes in 2007) and to create employment and training opportunities through the creation of a full-time television service for the region.

Within Fife, a decade of campaigning has brought us to the stage where we have a fully functioning web broadcast television channel.

We participate in the on-going OFCOM consultations on Local TV and have presented public petitions on Local TV to the Westminster and Holyrood Parliaments, in addition to the Scottish Broadcasting Commission and are members of Fife Tay TV and the Scottish Local TV Federation.

Graeme Campbell, Chair of a recent Local TV Forum was interviewed by the Annandale Observer.
