Channel Fife TV was established as an independent organisation in 2010 to continue the legacy of media access in Fife (started by the Fife Film & Video Workshop in 2000 and continued into MIMAC in 2002 and MiMAC-Rushes in 2007) and to create employment and training opportunities through the creation of a full-time television service for the region.
Within Fife, a decade of campaigning has brought us to the stage where we have a fully functioning web broadcast television channel.
We participate in the on-going OFCOM consultations on Local TV and have presented public petitions on Local TV to the Westminster and Holyrood Parliaments, in addition to the Scottish Broadcasting Commission.
